The Cher Varya Group is based in Truro and provides all aspects of property maintenance and repairs to commercial and residential property located within the Group’s properties. The properties are mostly located within Cornwall but some out of county travel within the wider South West may be required.
As a multi-skilled operative, your responsibilities will include general maintenance of the buildings including undertaking small repairs. Good communication skills are essential as you will be liaising with outside contractors on more complex repairs. You will be required to carry out works on your own with little or no supervision. Works will be carried out safely, with health and safety at the forefront when carrying out tasks.

Hours are 40 hours per week, starting and finishing at the Company’s offices, you will be required to manage your workload throughout the day aiming to achieve all tasks set in good time. Your line manager will liaise with you and other members of the Company to set daily task targets and broader work planning.

Requirements:

You must hold the following as a minimum:

• Full clean driving licence
• Good Health and Safety awareness
• 2 Years’ experience of similar work
• You must have all round general maintenance skills, including general repairs, painting, and basic carpentry.
• Candidates must have a can-do attitude and be able to demonstrate initiative.
• It would be desirable to have a trade or skill to bring to the post

Based in Truro
The rate of pay is £22,000 to £24,000 per annum for the 40-hour week depending on experience.
